IABCA Int. Champion Renaissance Rhapsody Monk CGC
The first thing everyone notcies about Monk is how sweet and friendly he is. He has not yet met a hand he did not want to touch him. He is not pushy about it, infact, he picks up subtle body language when someone doesnt want his attention and he walks on.
Thank you Chris Swilley of Renaissance for allowing this sweet loving boy to come invade my house and heart. |

Rachael and Monk
Rachael and Monk have been a team in the show ring since as John with Rarities says, " you could just barely see her head bouncing behind the dog." Monk is so good with her and you can see how calm and well teamed they are just by watching them move together. Rachael took Monk to win Open against a large class at Boofest 2008. She also won best Jr. Handler.
Monk is just 1 major away from his ISWS Championship. |

Rachael showed Monk beautifully and everyone was impressed with how this little 7 year old girl could go out and show against seasoned dog people and not be intimidated. She has so much fun with it and I am very proud of her and Monk for the team they make in the show ring.
To have my little girl coming with me to shows and sharing in my passion for these events and the people is such a great joy and the road trips, we just have a blast of a time.
This is just one example of how these great dogs have effected my life in such a positive way.

While not the ideal racer, Monk has heart. And if you ask me he has beauty. One thing he does not have is speed. He for the most part runs true and clean. Though he has had the occasional dance on the field to inspire a different game, the judges and other dogs didn't appreciate.
On the lure coursing field he would rather watch the plastic go by then use precious dancing energy to take chase.
Monk took home the Turtle Award at Silkenfest in St. Louis 2009. |
